#Neverstoppraying #SYATP

Tomorrow is See you at the pole (SYATP) at 7 am at your school’s flagpole. Millions of Christians all over will be praying for our school, work, church, city, state, country, and world. if there has ever been a time that we needed millions of people to be praying for the same thing at the same time it is now, after all in Matthew 18:20 Jesus says: “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Christians are being heavily persecuted all over the world, except (for now) America. ISIS is beheading, torturing, killing, and even crucifying Christians who refuse to deny Christ. Matthew 10:33 Jesus says “But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.”
We need to never stop praying Ephesians 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (SYATP’s theme and verse this year)
Tomorrow please remember to go to SYATP I know it’s early but think of it as getting up early for Jesus and as you are there remember to pray for the Christians who are being persecuted currently and for those of us who are not yet, but the fact is our time will most likely come.
If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
Below are some encouraging verses about persecution and at the very bottom is a link to one of my favorite songs “Free In Love” – Heavens to Betsy
“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.” 2 Corinthians 4: 8-11

“If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you…. If they persecuted Me they will persecute you… for they do not know the One who sent Me.” John 15:19-21

“For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
—2 Corinthians 12:10

Matthew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11″Blessed are you when men cast insults at you, and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, on account of Me. 12″Rejoice, and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Matthew 5:44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you”

Your not good enough

How many times do we hear this? “Your not good enough for this or for that.

Yes it’s horrible to hear/say, but the truth is we aren’t good enough because of our sins nobody should go to Heaven because none of us are good enough to be in the presence of The God of the universe. (Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”)

now I’m not saying go tell everybody who isn’t saved they aren’t good enough, your not going to be very effective if you do. Yes we need to build people up because the world tells us we’re not skinny, strong, tall, pretty, handsome, ect. enough. But we aren’t good enough on our own so don’t go getting a big head. Christians are known for thinking we are better than everybody else, but we aren’t, God is.

You are beautiful, you are perfect in God’s eyes and if you are saved you will spend eternity in heaven with the creator of you and of the universe

we’re not strong enough/good enough, but God died for us, so that anyone who accepts his gift is now good enough because of his blood. Which means without his love we are nothing!

At the bottom there is a link to the song Savior Please by Josh Wilson, it talks about how we are nothing without his love, on our own we’re not good enough/strong enough, no matter how many times we try or hard we try.

This week try to remember on our own we have nothing but with God we have everything

~Talk to Y’all next week, Noelle 🙂

So first off I want to say I have been doing a horrible job of updating my blog, in my defense I haven’t had a computer for 3 months (yes i have more computer problems than anyone i know) but still my blog is called start with the small my first blog was saying how we need to be faithful in the small so that we prove to God we can handle bigger things. This is my small thing and I haven’t been faithful in the small. I now have a computer and I am going to start being more faithful.

We are called to be unashamed of the gospel  (For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. ~Romans 1:16) But how many of us actually are truly unashamed? Most of us are to afraid to talk to people who might make fun of us, sure if we stand up and say please don’t cuss, gossip, drink, get high, do whatever is displeasing to God around me you will probably get made fun of, you might get bullied, but is that really so bad? We are called to not conform to the patterns of this world (Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will. ~Romans 12:2) So ask people not to do those things in front of you and risk maybe getting made fun of or bullied. Yes bullying is horrible and I’ve been bullied its not fun, but if you think about what is happening in Iraq, what is happening and has been happening to Christians since the beginning. (“God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.~ Matthew 5:11)

We not only need to be unashamed but we need to pray for the Christians who are being persecuted!

If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to persecute you?

This is one of my favorite songs called “Free in love” it talks about how I’m gonna love you because you are my enemy:

Have you ever been home alone when you heard a noise and thought for sure you were about to be murdered? If you said yes I’m totally with you. If you said no, well I just confessed I may be a little paranoid so that’s embarrassing. Anyway we aren’t supposed to be afraid as children of God.

Fear is defined as “an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat” and “being afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening.” and Timidity is defined as “fear of the unknown or unfamiliar or fear of making decisions” (Google) If we are afraid or have timidity as Christians we are basically saying:

1. God I don’t trust you

2. God you aren’t good/strong enough to protect me

But God is big enough and strong enough to protect all of his children and he deserves to be trusted by us. After all he died in the most embarrassing way possible, in a way meant for sinners not the only person in all of existence who hasn’t sinned. He was beaten, stripped, mocked, and finally hung in front of everyone on the cross to die.

God has commanded us as Christians not to be afraid in Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” and 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”

God will protect us, he might not always keep us from harm, but he will do his will and let his glory shine through the troubles and after all that’s what we are called to do as his servants. Francesca Battistelli’s song “Write your story” says: “My Life I know it’s never really been mine So do with it whatever You like I don’t know what Your plan is But I know it’s good” He is just writing his story with you and how boring is a movie without a little fear, a little love (in this case a lot of love) and a happy ending. If your a christian you’ll have the happiest of endings, one that never ends.

God is using you to write a story so let him. “I’m an empty page I’m an open book Write Your story on my heart Come on and make Your mark Author of my hope Maker of the stars Let me be Your work of art Won’t You write Your story on my heart Write Your story, write Your story Come on and write Your story, write Your story Won’t You write Your story on my heart” (Francesca Battistelli-“Write your story”)

The unknown is scary, but that’s why God gives us his help, his strength, his word that helps us along, and Christian relationships of all kinds to help us along in his story. Because every Batman needs a Robin.

Every trouble we face has to go through God first, he wont give us more than we can handle (Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”) (1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”) Not only are we not supposed to be afraid we are supposed to count it Joy when we face trials (James 1:2 “Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.”) We are supposed to be joyful in all things! In the trials if we are joyful other people will see that we aren’t complaining (Philippians 2:14 “Do everything without grumbling or arguing”) and realize there is something different about Christians. And if we are having troubles it means Satan sees us as a threat, he wouldn’t bother the people who are on his side as much as he does to his enemies.

The following two songs are two of my favorite new songs with my favorite lyrics from the song:

“Write Your Story” – Francesca Battistelli “My Life I know it’s never really been mine So do with it whatever You like I don’t know what Your plan is But I know it’s good” http://youtu.be/ecV1NHmELuA

“We are Brave” – Shawn McDonald “So let the blaze keep growing higher, its in the flames that we shine brighter, standing tall through it all, cause we are the fighters” this one doesn’t have a link but you can find it on Spotify and Itunes.

Be brave and don’t fear, God is protecting you!ImageImage

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one them came to be” (Psalm 139:13-16).

Google define abortion as “the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy.”

50 million babies have been murdered by 1973

Abortion is often argued that it is “the woman’s body and therefore her choice” but it isn’t just her body its also an innocent child’s body that after an abortion is a dead child, a lost life, a murder of an innocent victim, a possible genius that the world will never know, God’s creation who has now been destroyed. Another argument for abortion is “the baby isn’t a human at that time”

The following are 6 verses that either have to do with the murder of a baby, harming anybody else’s body which is the temple of God (that includes unborn children), or showing that they are God’s creation (a human) at the first moment of conception)

  1. “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13).

  2. “Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent and righteous, for I will not acquit the wicked” (Exodus 23:7).

  3. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward” (Psalm 137:3).

  4. “When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman’s husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe” (Exodus 21:22-25).

  5. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them” (Genesis 1:27).

  6. “Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)

The following pictures are what the baby looks like in the different stages in the womb every 4 weeks until week 28 which is when most abortions happen

To me those pictures prove that those are indeed humans, innocent humans that are being murdered!

Stand up and speak up for those who can’t!

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me ~ Matthew 25:40
